Styx Welding specializes in the fabrication and welding of Mild Steel Concrete Lined (MSCL) pipe water and sewer infrastructure across South East Queensland. All welding is done to AS/NZ1554.1 SP welding code, compliant to the WSAA and SEQ standards.

We have provided many years of pipe fitting and welding services for many Tier 1 companies in major infrastructure projects throughout the SEQ region. We have also provided welding services to various councils in their water and sewer infrastructure upgrades.

In addition, we take pride in working with smaller civil and plumbing companies on water infrastructure projects involving MSCL pipe—such as boundary connections, single and multiple live connections (joining new water mains to existing ones) of all sizes, ranging from 100-2100mm nominal diameter pipes, burst water mains, hot taps, up-and-overs, step-downs, intersection upgrades, and more.
